Bill Liu
Visual / Interaction Designer

I'm a master student of Human-Computer Interaction Institute, Carnegie Mellon, seeking for a job as a Visual / Interaction Designer. I care about user experience in the context of social, mobile, and locational computing, and I enjoy designing apps for post-pc devices.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering at Beihang University, Beijing, China. During senior year, I cofounded Jiepang.com, which is the #1 Location-Based Social Networking startup company in China and is widely known as China's Foursquare. I worked there for 2 years as the Design Lead, as well as Product Manager in charge of Mobile App Development. Besides, I've also interned in Microsoft Research Asia as UX Designer/Researcher, working on projects related to information visualization.
